Upgrading Your Home To LED Lighting
Some great alternatives can be found in our wide selection of LED table lamps – all of which can help brighten up darker times of the year and help improve your mood.
You could look at our Clip On LED Desk Lamp. It works by simply clipping onto the edges of any desk or work surface, and is available in black, white, silver and red. This makes it highly versatile in both form and function.
It’s also available with a choice of E27 bulbs – you can pick either warm white (3000K) or cool white (6000K).
On the other hand, you can also take a look at our Adjustable Head Light LED Table Lamp. Rather more conventionally, it sits on your table on its chrome stand, whilst the head pivots and rotates giving you complete freedom with where you point it.
This too comes with a choice of E14 bulbs, with warm white or cool white available again.
LED Lights – Good For Your Wallet, The Environment, And You!
The benefits that LED lights have on your personal finance and the environment are well documented – but did you know that LEDs are also highly beneficial for your health?
For a start, LEDs don’t emit any UV rays – so straight away they reduce premature skin aging, eyestrain and headaches. This is compounded by the fact that they don’t flicker or hum, which can also cause general discomfort.
Crucially, LEDs also contain zero mercury content unlike CFLs. Mercury is a highly toxic substance that is hugely detrimental to your immune system, internal organs and general wellbeing.
Their incredible efficiency means they also give off less heat compared to halogens, which eliminates the risk of your burning your skin if you come into contact with them.
