But there are also no hard and fast rules as to where you should locate them, so use your imagination! Indeed, the ease with which you’ll be able to install this 2m single colour strip light kit will surprise you, given the professional look you’ll achieve! As it’s available in 2 levels of IP (Ingress Protection) rating, you will also need to choose where you’d like to locate it. For areas safely away from sources of moisture, you’ll require the IP20 rating, whereas in places prone to wetness or dampness, your strip light should incorporate the virtually waterproof IP65 level. Choice And Convenience As Standard As stated, all our LED strip lights are incredibly simple to install wherever you choose. Even if you need to cut them to size, they’re marked at certain points along their length at which you can snip them with just a pair of household scissors. This allows you to tailor their length to your exact requirements. Should you cut or otherwise alter this LED strip light, please be aware that we will no longer be in a position to accept a return. These LED strip lights require no soldering. If you’ve opted for the IP65 level, you’ll simply scrape away the protective silicone layer and join them together, using one of our convenient LED strip light connectors!
