Designed by Mean Well is the NeoPower Mean Well HLG-150H 240V Transformer. Measuring 38.8mm x 228mm x 68mm, it is far slimmer compared to other high wattage drivers, allowing it to do its job discreetly.
The driver itself has a maximum load of 150W, converting a 240V AC current into a low voltage DC, either 12v, 24v or 48v depending on your needs. Another amazing feature of this transformer is that has no open terminals and is fully encased, also making it IP 65 Rated. This allows it to be water resistant and entirely dust tight.

Benefits Of LED Strip Lights
LEDs are the most versatile lighting that there is, while also being incredibly energy efficient, using up to 90% less electricity. Not only this, but they can be incorporated into any fitting, or use integrated LED chips instead.
This is where LED strip lights come in. It is a tape with LED chips strategically placed along the length, making it flexible and thin enough to remain hidden while emitting high-quality light.
Not just versatile in placement, but you can even create a multitude of colours and effects with the tape, easily controlled from the help of a remote. This lets you set the tone of the room, while still being able to create cool white (6000K) or warm white (3000K) hues.
We also offer a cutting and soldering service for you – unlike many other LED companies, making the tape the exact lengths that you need. This cuts out any hassle and means it is ready for installation as soon as possible.
Picking The Right Driver
Take a look through our fantastic ranges of LED Strip Lights, and then head over to our LED power supplies to find the best matched transformer.
For something more conspicuous, you can try the Slimline Driver 150w. Incredibly thin, it only measures 30mm in width, far thinner than the standard transformers available on the market.
If you want more control over your strip lights, then why not purchase the ProDim 100W Dimmable LED Driver. This particular product has a maximum load of 100W, but can be used to dim the light, best controlled with a remote.
