“This is a great chair for zipping about on relatively smooth terrain such as pavements, shopping centres and airports. So far it has coped well with the slopes I've tried, including London bus ramps. The joystick controls are easy to figure out and the battery is quite lightweight and simple to remove for charging. It's suitable for plane travel too; I drove it to the door of the plane where my husband removed the detachable parts and then it was stored in the hold. The battery needs to travel in the cabin. It's a bit less comfy over surfaces like cobbles but it can be done. The main issue for me has been the position of the joystick; I have weak wrists and hands and ideally need the joystick to be fairly low so that I can operate it with my wrist and hand flat, otherwise the muscles become fatigued and I start to get pain. It would be so much better if the part that extends downwards from the armrest and holds the joystick pole could have different height options. With help and advice from Jessie at Wheelfreedom (thank you for all your help!) we have found a workaround - adding detachable armrests to raise my arm and wrist height - but it would be better to have joystick height options built into the Navigator design.”

“Small enough to fit in our car, easy to fold and transport. Comfortable and easy to use. The charging is simple and efficient. It has given me more freedom than I expected as I can control the chair myself.”
