Giles Edward Donald needs to pay extra attention to this review, there are certain idiots that work for you that will destroy your family owned business. Unfortunately I’ve had no other option but to post this full and transparent review with all honesty, what these employees of yours don’t understand is that they are crapping on the hand that feeds them. The relationship started off excellent between myself and Wheel Freedom, unfortunately as the months went by the relationship deteriorated as certain staff made the negative impression. Giles you and the other company directors need to know this before this whole situation gets out of hand with another client of yours who would take legal action, I know internally a lot of employees under your wing will take action to cover their own backs after this review. 2 wheelchair technicians who I don’t know need to stop make comments such as ‘Oh he is here again’, little should they know it’s my repairs that pays their wages. Martin Pain the floor manager also needs to refrain from comments such as ‘He is going to be here for the rest of the day’ Mr. Pain should know that I don’t have time to sit around racists as I have better things to be doing with my time. Unfortunately sometimes I have to come into the showroom to have my wheelchair seen too. Lastly if you are that family who own a 7 seat vehicle reading this then know your private affairs is out in the open, members of the floor staff have commented ‘Those benefit cheats all on PIP ran across the car park looking for scooters and wheelchairs’. I would urge anyone reading this to think twice before considering this company, take strict caution if you are most of all from a minority ethnic background as some of these vermin portraying racist behaviour and comments. To all my UAE followers, they have another showroom which recently opened in Dubai. Motability and other relevant authorities have been notified. To Giles on a closing note, you seriously need to reevaluate some of your employees and their conduct towards your clients. Issues as such will ruin your company. I’ve now had to leave Wheel Freedom and go elsewhere, on a positive note employees like Rash and the technician manager forgot his name need to be recognised as assets to the company. Genuine staff like them get a bad name due to those rotten apples.

The F5 VS has improved my life, after my last standing, powerchair, was no longer doing the job and had become unserviceable. I auditioned options from Karma and Quickie. The Q700-up M was very maneuverable and more compact, but I decided the Permobil was the finest piece of engineering, smoother operation and had the pedigree. I'm a bit unsure, still, about the chest brace, it feels very secure, but I might try it with a harness. One of the rubber light control strips has fallen out (not a problem as I have no lights fitted), but these are minor issues. My advice to any paraplegic, who wants a less painful, slightly easier, life, is to get the Permobil. Also, use it with a Varilite Evolution 16 x 20 cushion, as I do, which is the best. You can just get away with using this cushion, without the valve catching on the leg brace.
