It is very good in tight spaces like on the bus or in lifts etc. But it is very poor at climbing even the smallest step and is hard to reverse in a small space it would be a lot better if it did not have hand grips on the back

This wheelchair is very comfortable and very manouverable. Being mid wheel drive when driven at or near its maximum speed it is a little unstable. The lights are vulnerable to damage because they stick out too far. The armrests are susceptible to damage through wear and tear and the joystick rubber tends to fall off after a few months.

Strong, robust electric chair. I’m a full time wheelchair user and work full time as an artist, traveling, busy all day, everyday. The Quickie Salsa has good battery life to see me through the day. I really liked its adaptability, making slight adjustments pretty easy (things like armrests/backrests/control position. The chair is robust too which is great. It has excellent manoeuvrability being a central whhel drive and so great turning space indoors and out (not too big/bulky). Nice pace getting around, feels safe and sturdy. I would say the only drawback is it struggles a bit with curbs over 3 to 4 inches, ....and possibly the name...lol.....I’ve had this chair for over a year with no problems, I feel it was a great buy for me.
