Designed for the home mechanic. This simple and effective bearing press will extract and insert linkage bearings with ease. Thanks to a CNC construction this tool is ultra durable. A wide range of adaptors are available to suit almost any linkage bearing. The bearing press and adaptors are supplied separately so you can customize the bearing press kit to suit your requirements for greater value for money. Adaptor kits are supplied with full extraction and insertion fittings. For more information on adaptor kits see the below table. NOTE - Bearing Kits 1, 2 & 3 don't have male adaptors (just female ones) due to the small size of the bearing bore hole

The RRP does the job, bit expensive but it will last a lifetime.

decided to finally purchase the bearing tool, and wish I’d done it earlier, makes removing old ones easy and new ones go in straight every time, well made. Yes having to buy the kits can make it expensive, but we’ve 6 bikes and most of the bearings are the same, so maybe 6 kits to do the lot, looks great too.

The press handles are a little overpriced for what you get but the kit as a whole performs excellently and is very nicely made. It allows you to change out pivot bearing in moments compared to faffing around with sockets, hammers, wood, threaded stud etc. The only bearings it can't really remove easily are main pivot bearings where there is not access to both sides of the bearing. Definitely recommended though, yes it's pricey but a nice addition to the amateurs' tool box and you can build up a set by only buying the press parts as and when you need them.

This is a good quality tool that made the job easy. Only reason for withholding a star is the price. It's a lot of money for what it is but even so, I would say it's worth the cost for the ease of use compared to knocking bearings out with home made bodged up tools.
