“Great beginner tuba. I have played a few different tubas for 3 times the price and still won’t ring like this one will when you try at least. The second valve is slower than the other ones. Pro tip: use trombone slide oil I use herco for my valves. Valve oil in general is typically not as good as a normal trombone slide oil. The mouthpiece I would replace immediately it is to skinny and the slightest adjustment will change your pitch completely. Go with a standard 22 tuba mouthpiece and you will be completely fine. The entry level ones start at 20$ on Amazon. Overall I highly recommend this tuba to the beginner or someone heading back into the realm of tubas as I did.”
