This is a gift for my son for Christmas. So i don't know how he will like. It is one that he picked out. But the service and shipping time frame were very good.

Excellent instrument. Sounds great. I took it to Frankfurt to play in The Grand Jam world record largest rock band on May 24th and it did not disappoint. Practical for taking as hand luggage on flight to Frankfurt.

The instrument has a great slide. It plays well and has a nice bright tone. It is also very comfortable to hold. My only two complaints are that 7th position is too close to the end of the slide and you can very easily pull the slide off if you overshoot. Additionally, the mouthpiece doesn't seat properly in the lead pipe. It bottoms out and would fall out if the horn was turned upside down. I don't generally turn my trombone upside down, so it isn't a big deal, but it is a curious design. As long as you are careful with your 7th position precision and you don't turn the instrument upside down and shake it, you will be happy with the purchase.

Plays great! Really feels like playing a trombone rather than a slide trumpet. Great tone. Blends well with the trombone choir.

I am a trombone player and have always wanted a soprano trombone and am very happy with this one. It is not perfect, but for its price, it is great. Pros: The trombone looks and sounds very nice The case is high quality The relative size of the trombone is similar to that of the tenor, so the references for each position are spot on or very close to that of the tenor trombone Cons: The slide felt scratchy when first playing, but running water through the outer slide fixed the problem There is no tuning slide, so you must tune with how the bell section attaches to the slide, which is not ideal nor allows for a wide range of tuning for warm weather Overall it is a very good trombone for a very great price.

Wildly surpassed my expectations! Intonation is good, slide is smooth as glass and extremely well made! Fantastic!

Flawless and surprising for such an inexpensive instrument. Fast shipping (received 3 days after ordering). Slide is very smooth even before lubricating. As expected, the tone is a bit thin using the supplied 7c mouthpiece. I switched to a flugelhorn mouthpiece with trumpet shank. The tone is full and rich. I look forward to performing on this tiny bone with my jazz band.
