'Cool. Fun. Adventurous.' These were the three words my family used to describe the first trip in our Venturer canoe. Delivery was quick and the boat came as described. We purchased some canoe paddles to replace the kayak paddles provided. It would be great if Wave could include those instead. No complaints other than that. The boat handled well and was pretty quick with two paddlers. Lots of room for our two young boys and some luggage. Given the size of the boat, it didn't feel unreasonably heavy to carry from the car. The carry rucksack bag was good and had plenty of room to fit everything in. But the bag fits into the boot of our Ford Fiesta. Looking forward to many more adventures!

Very good steady canoe. Have done only 20 miles on river but so far very happy with purchase.

Took our new canoe out for a short first paddle on Loch Maree, in the Northwest highlands of Scotland. Straightforward and reasonably quick to inflate with the supplied pump (just as well as the midges were fierce). First impressions were very good - stable, easy to steer, travelled well. We didn't try the fins so can't comment on them. Nor have we tried it as a 3-person canoe yet but we're confident that will work ok (as long as the bow doesn't have long legs). A few days later we took it to the lovely Mellon Udrigle beach, but were put off by the strong offshore breeze. Probably it would have coped fine, but we preferred not to risk it while still getting to know the canoe. The manual is a bit minimal - some explanation of valve inflation/deflation would be helpful. A video showing the neatest way to pack it into the carry bag would be great. However we managed, and I was able to carry it all of 100 yards to the beach (but only just, as a weedy septuagenarian).

This canoe is just fantastic. The quality is top notch and although a little heavy it comes in a useful storage bag for transporting. Can’t wait to get exploring with it. This is the second product we have bought from Wave and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend this company.

I bought the canoe for my husband and his friend, they already have a Wave kayak and paddle boards. They said it moved fast and in no time they were practicly out of sight. It was a calm day on the sea. They are looking forward to using it on a lake and on the river. Delivery was faster than expected too.

Great canoe, super solid and nice and lightweight. Just the ticket to bridge the traditional and new tech. Looking forward to my first multi dayer, can't wait. Customer service is also 2nd to none. Pleasure doing business. Matt

This is a fantastic piece of equipment, and well worth the price. I've taken it on the river once, and it has performed really well. It stays in a straight line really well, even with a single paddler. The constructions feels very sturdy, and whilst I am new to inflatables, it feels well put together and should withstand any unavoidable bumps and scrapes. With a bit of practice, it's easy to assemble and put away. Approximately 15 minutes to fully assemble with the dual action pump, and surprisingly easy to fit back into the backpack when you've taken it apart. The following points should not take anything away from this 5 star canoe, or your decision to purchase, but hopefully some feedback for Wave: - The instructions are *very* sparse - a few diagrams would be helpful when getting it started. I have found the seats can be a bit tricky to attach, but with the bottom decking only partially inflated it's much easier. - It comes with footrests (that are included in the navigator kayak range), although there is no mention of them in the instructions or product page. I was a little confused with them, but didn't personally need them in the canoe as it's comfy without - not the first to mention this, but it's a canoe - single bladed paddles should be included. Just go for it!
