Arrived within 24 hours, took it out on the river Hull. Inflated and in the water within 10 minutes. Packs great in the boot had a great day out(first of many) Bit of a head turner too, That’s the canoe not meI did originally launch without the Skaggs as I am a novice, won’t make that mistake again. Overall…. Brilliant!!

The canoe feels quite unsettling when sitting on the seats but feels really good if you kneel or sit on the floor. After the first use one of the skeg release mechanisms jammed and wouldn’t release the skeg. I had to borrow a screwdriver to release it and I am currently waiting for a hopeful replacement. Easy to carry with 2 adults and it will be very good with some small adjustments. Looking forward to more outings on the water .

Short term review - only had it 1 weekend, as a canoe its great, its rigid and behaves exactly like a canoe should - Im very happy with this purchase, and would gladly reccomend to friends. However, the paddles provided are fairly entry level, ill be looking to upgrade these once the kids can be trusted. Pumping up is a chore, ill be getting an electric pump (lazy right?) - it can steal the thunder from a quick afternoon trip as sole grown up (carrying everything) with small kids. The back pack has already ripped after only two uses, its fairly heavy once packed up, so tricky to be delicate with the flimsy carry bag. the shoulder straps are mounted too high on the bag so the weight is low down on your back, it hits the backs of your legs and is mildly irksome. I like the boat, im happy someone has made an actually decent inflatable canoe, i might even pursude someone to do Devizes to Westminster in one - one day, i mention the negative things in the hope that they might get picked up for future versions of the product.

This is our first kayak so keep this review in that frame of mind. It came well packaged and very easy to set up, although no explainer paperwork came with the boat so it was a guessing game, but not too hard. Would be nice for a beginner like me to have had that. Product is solid, well made, and was very easy to inflate although the pressure guage on the pump isn't working. It's a bit a of a struggle to attach the fins pre-inflation, then inflate, then add the floor, get it all snuggled in properly, then inflate that but It all works well. On the water though, it was extremely wobbly. For a first timer, I was expecting more stability and we were on a smooth pond mind you. My wife in front, left the middle seat out for my 75lb german shepherd and me in the rear. Let me tell you, if you don't have a solidly built core muscle built up it's a struggle to stay properly balanced. Any movement by the dog or myself and I was prying we didn't tip over, slight movement, not adventurous movement. Not having anywhere to place my feet for stability was disappointing. My wife, in better shape than myself, was doing okay, but still found it wobbly. I should have researched more the width of the boat and how that narrowness on this unit makes it much more of a professional boat and difficult to maneuver , not for leisures like us. Overall very good quality product, great customer service - responsive and kind. Sadly I'm thinking we won't be using it much though because it's so much work.

We have the 3-person canoe and it’s already a great addition to our activity options. The build quality is excellent, with durable materials, strong seams, and a sturdy design that feels robust once inflated. It strikes a great balance between being easier to store and transport compared to a standard canoe and offering a solid, dependable feel on the water. It’s comfortably spacious for 3 people (adults/kids). The canoe is stable and easy to paddle, even for those of us with limited paddling experience. The instructions are short on detail, but it’s simple enough to get it up and down again. The only extra detail I would recommend is in the order of inflation to make it easiest to attach the seats. Inflation: 1. Lay out the shell 2. Insert the floor (lining it up with the drain plug) 3. Inflate one side 4. Attach the seats 5. Inflate the second side 6. Inflate the floor Deflation in the reverse order. Needing this detail should only help make it as efficient as possible - it’s pretty quick to inflate. Some extra details and recommendations from my experience: 1. Find a space to practice inflating and deflating once before going out on the water the first time - this will save disappointed kids waiting around for the inevitable slow first time setup. 2. Inflate/deflate next to the water if possible - we live only a few hundred yards from a river, but inflating first and carrying a 26kg canoe between 2 adults and a keen teenager gets heavy fast. 3. Don’t underestimate how heavy it is packed away - the rucksack is brilliant and easily fits everything inside but it weighs 30kg total. If that sounds too heavy to carry on your back, I recommend a festival trolley or similar. All of this considered, this is easily a 5-star canoe and my only regret is not getting one sooner.

Great canoe, took out for the first time over the weekend, light enought to carry to launch but packs up small enough to fit in the boot of the car. Paddles are a little uncomfortable to use for an extended period and the joint is right where your lower hand sits but nothing a little handlebar tape wouldn't fix. The boat feels a bit tippy when first getting in but with good communication it was never an issue and something you become accustomed to. Overall would definitely recommend and will be using for many adventures to come.
