“Good quality SUP. Very stable yet light to carry. Appears good quality, easy to fold down. I'm 112kg and works well. Even with 2 ppl (1 adult and 1 child)it's alright. Comes with waist strap but I prefer ankle strap. Would be nice to have an option to choose.”

“As a taller beginner SUP boarder, I wanted something wider than usual. This fits the bill. Early days but I’m enjoying it. Seems well made but the paddle was scratched and most of marks on the top deck. QC might need looking into from factory. Doesn’t detract from the overall experience though”

“Excellent board for the price. Very stable on the water, looks nice and is well built. The pump supplied gets the board to the correct psi with minimum effort (or as minimum as can be for a hand pump) the quick release system for the fin is brilliant, much better than that used by similar priced boards. I have paddles a number of SUPs by wave and have been impressed with every single one. The design and build quality is streets above anything else at that price point. The recon is incredibly stable and easy to paddle making it an idea board for beginners and people looking to improve. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the bottom of the board does scratch easily which I haven't had with some of my other boards launching at the same location. However this does not effect the board it is only cosmetic. Highly recommend Wave boards, between us we now have 3 of the models offered and they all perform brilliantly.”
