“We took it out for our absolute first time in a SUP board. I was impressed with it! Very stable and smooth. The rubber created enough friction to help you stand easily, even for a first timer. For what I felt, it did not sacrifice the speed. Would highly recommend this model and Wave in general - great products, communication and customer service.”

“I have just purchase the Recon 3.0 and only taken it out twice in the sea....what a lovely board!Light enough for me to carry on my own (was struggling with my last one!) and wide enough to stand up first time without falling in. I take my 8 year old on board with me and the board is still great for 2 people! The only 2 things I would say are that I feel that inflating at 15 PSI isn't quite enough (the board felt a little soft under my feet when standing up), inflated at 16 PSI isn't quite (still writhing recommended pressure bracket) and it was better. Also, the paddle which comes with the board is not great, I find it really quite heavy to use and the handles"lock" which allows you to adjust it is actually loose which is really disappointing. Dropping a star because of the poor handle”

“It arrived the very next day, which was brilliant was out on the water two days later, and the whole ordering process was smooth and hassle-free. Great service, a good quality board, and reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend and will happily use them again.”

“Absolutely brilliant SUP! Took it out yesterday for the first time and after some issues with the pump and keeping it on the valve (think I had the o ring upside down) I got it in the water and its enjoyed getting to grips with paddleboarding. Got plenty of comments from people saying how good the sup looked etc. The quick release ankle strap is brilliant and the fin is super easy to attach and take off. The carry bag is very spacious and surprisingly light once all packed away! My only criticism is of the paddle itself as it seems to have trapped some water somehow between the shaft and the paddle itself. Not quite sure where this can be drained out. I would thoroughly recommend this SUP if you are in the market for one”

“Great board, very stable. Neatness of manufacturing could be better and would make it a 5 if fixed, but it’s just adhesive that is a little messy. Doesn’t seem to be impacting functionality thus far.”

“First SUP I've owned. Used it a few times now on rivers and love it. Really stable and even took my 9yr old son for a afternoon on it, not really designed for two but worked great. Well made, Highly recommended.”
