This was purchased to replace our 3 person Pelican 15'5 (rigid Canadian built boat). What this inflatable kayak offers is ease to take it anywhere, which was the only issue that we had with the rigid kayak. When paddling, the Navigator glides really well. I have used cheap inflatable kayaks before and this is far, far better. We took it out on the local river and creek on a windy day, it had very little wind drag (less than our Pelican and the previous inflatable kayaks). We did not have the two fins attached, but think that would have made paddling into the wind even easier. (Our local river is fairly shallow in places, which is why we did not fit the fins.) It is very stable. The floor is rigid enough and does not buckle (I am 6ft, 75Kg, plus 60Kg passenger). It pumps up in a couple of minutes, using the supplied pump. (I was not 100pc certain that the pressure guage was accurate, so actually opted to underinflate it, which was fine.) The boat materials seem of a good quality, as are the valves. The seats are comfortable, but we only went out for an hour or so, not a whole day. The backpack is huge, it makes me look like a Hobbit when I am loaded up, but it is comfortable on the shoulders and only about 19Kg. The bag is the only weak point, it does not seem particularly robust. Ours is a 1-2 person, but I am going to buy another seat to squeeze in a third person for short jaunts, as it is pretty long.

Only been out once on the River Tees for 3-4 hours last week, but first impressions, i’m very pleased with the kayak. It is Solidly build, holds the pressure well and packs away easily. On the water, at first it was a bit wobbly but once i got used to it, it was surprisingly stable. It glides through the water with little effort and there is plenty of leg room inside and enough storage room at the front and back for all your kit.

Positive: Easy to inflate, deflate and fold up. Sturdy, seems to be a friendly for my dog. 2 seater spacious for me, dog, cooler, tents. Negative: The fins are easily removed by debris or shallow surface. I’ve used my kayak 3 times and had to replace a fin 2 times. The seats aren’t sturdy or comfortable. Rowing, I keep hitting the oar holders affixed to the side. It’s annoying.

The kayak has exceeded my expectations in both size and performance. It’s larger than anticipated, offering plenty of space and excellent stability on the water. Once inflated to 15psi, it feels remarkably solid more like a rigid kayak than an inflatable. The lightweight seat provided is well constructed and easy to use, though a bit more padding would help when sitting over the firm base. The seat back pockets have been very practical for storing small essentials during longer trips. I’ve especially appreciated the reinforced nose and tail, which have come in handy when navigating locks or landing against rough surfaces. I’ve tested the kayak in both calm and faster moving water. It handled well in current dipping the nose into quicker flow was stable and predictable thanks to the double skeg setup. I’m looking forward to experimenting with just one skeg next time. The included footrests are a nice touch comfortable to rest against or push off for added power when paddling. One minor drawback is the paddle bracket mounts. While useful in theory, they tend to catch on things especially whilst paddling, they could be more refined or omitted altogether. We were working on refining our paddle style to avoid the snags. I realised the mounts are attached and do not form part of the infaltion so I cut them off with a drimmel. Worked a dream. Overall, I’ve had people stop to ask where they can get their hands on the Navigator, which speaks volumes. The carry backpack is quite large when worn, but it easily accommodates the kayak and all accessories. Customer service has also been excellent throughout prompt, helpful, and friendly. All in all, a very well-designed product with thoughtful features that performs reliably across various conditions.

Great Kayak for 2 people, with room for the dog as well. Convenient and good size carry bag. Very easy to set up, pump effective to get the pressure to 15psi. Comfortable seats and stable for two people.

After extensively researching kayaks trying to find something perfect, I finally found it. The video review on the website was also super handy to help decision. Despite ordering as pre-order, this arrived over a week before I was expecting. With sleek traditional looks, loads of room and adjustable seating, future days of kayaking around the lakes with my son up front and dog in middle are finally here. Loving the hard bow and stern, so no fear of unrecoverable damage if we run aground. Buckets of storage space. Inflated all chambers with hand pump in 11minutes. Carry bag is kind of basic. No additional pockets to separate sundry goods (pump/seats/leashes etc..) Heavy once packed away. Definitely recommend this kayak. CONS: Carry bag is kinda basic. No additional pockets to seperate sundry goods (pump/seats/leashes etc..) Heavy once packed away. Tricky to pack away given the hard bow & stern. OVERALL Definetely recommend this kayak.

Quick to inflate, and easy to keep on a straight course on a slightly windy lake. We have not tested yet in higher winds. We are much enjoying it.

We bought the 2 seater and can honestly say the quality of the product for the price is pretty good. Having always purchased cheaper kayaks we didn’t know what we were missing out on! Would definitely recommend.
