“This is my first inflatable kayak ( I've still got a hard shell) but needed something for three people or two with camping gear. It even fits in my little 205 It's perfect!! I was worried about it being abit "flimsy" or like a toy.. But it's not it's absolutely solid, built really well. And its perfect on the water . Id be happy to take this most places. Also it was delivered within 24 hours which is amazing!! Would recommend to anyone.”

“Comes in a really nice bag. We've got a 3-series BMW, and it fits perfectly in the boot with room for all the other little bits, but only if the kayak is rolled up, not folded like it came in the packaging. I'd say my other half would struggle getting to the recommended 10-15 psi, but when constantly pumping, it goes up fairly quickly, less than 10 minutes. We pre-set the seats and footrest at home when we first inflated it so there was no faff when launching. This was identified with a sticker inside the handy pocket on the back of each seat. There was plenty of room behind the back seat and on the bungee cords at both ends, so we didn't have to make a trip back to the car. On the Itiwit we had, the seats pumped up, so I wasn't too sure about these seats and how they would affect my back, but after doing nearly 8 miles, both myself and other half didn't moan or comment about the seating. I'm still unsure how the black would react to temperatures over 20°; would it be too hot to touch or even get in? But this is something I'll have to see later on in the year. The kayak dried really quickly; releasing the pressure on the floor first enabled us to do a quick wipe along the seams. And using the pump to take out the remaining air is fairly easy. 2 adults and a child 6yo . Plenty of room to extend legs on footrest. And Queen bee in the middle was in lounge position the whole trip. If I was to put 3 adults in the kayak I would take the footrest out. Last year we started kayaking but was unsure if we'd enjoy it so thats the reason we got second hand itiwit 3man and a solo itiwit kayak for less than £300. We took them to north Wales and really enjoyed ourselves so I was looking to upgrade and get a dropstich without spending a huge amount. So far after the first trip we are all very impressed and £400 is very good for what you get. Ordered sunday night and received it on Tuesday mid day. Very impressed with wave, will hopefully be ordering a solo kayak with them shortly. Many thanks Great experience and beautiful product”

“I've only had this a couple of days and yet to take it out on the water. Initial impressions are very good. The kit has everything you need to get started. The kayak itself is really good quality. Best of all it all fits in the carry bag with minimal faff, though the carry bag is massive.”

“After long research into inflatable kayaks I went with wave. It was exactly what I wanted in a 3 person inflatable The delivery was fast and well packaged. The product itself is high quality and super steady on the water. Takes around 5 mins to inflate and install the seats. Cant wait to take it out more in the summer months”

“We bought this after lots of long conversations with Ai to help us find the right boat for us within our budget and we couldn't be happier with it. We like to stay at Hill of Oaks, which is right on the edge of Lake Windermere where we can stay in a glamping pod and walk straight to the lake and launch the boat from a jetty or just by the lakeside. Last year was our first time and we just used cheap intex dinghys. Our parents went with us and used their gumotex thaya kayak and we were blown away by how nible and effortless it was on the water. We didn't have as much money to spend but we wanted to match the spec of the gumotex as closely as possible, which was asking a lot. We looked at many and almost bought a conwy but then my husband found the navigator available on pre-order and we asked AI to compare the spec with the gumotex and conwy and it was the winner for us and our occasional hobby use. We have now used the navigator on Windermere alongside our parents in their gumotex and we were overjoyed with it. With the fins attached it matched the gumotex for speed and tracking. My sons went in both boats and they said they got wetter in the gumotex. My Dad compared them and he was impressed with the plughole design that the navigator has that the gumotex doesn't. The navigator had all the other features the gumotex had and the main difference was that the gumotex had a rubber coating so it may stand up to wear over a much longer period time/use. We took our cocker spaniel and miniature poodle in the boat and still comfortably rowed with two adults and a child in it. It felt like excellemt quality. We are complete novices and at first felt uneasy as the wind was 25mph and there were cautions to not swim in the water at Fell Foot, but we soon found confidence in the boat and felt reasonably safe.”
