“(We bought this for our 11yo son, just before a holiday to Crete. We also have a local river at home so knew he’d use it regularly once home too. We’re all kayakers (I’m a coach), so familiar with paddling strokes and control, but relatively new to SUP.) Efficient swift delivery and well packaged. The package includes everything needed. Pump is plastic but feels sturdy, is easy to use with efficient dual action enabling inflation of board to recommended pressure in 10mins with relative ease. Board feels robust with sturdy construction, seams and high quality fixtures. Fin is solid and easy to fit and remove securely, with a neat little locking mechanism. The paddle is well designed and easy to assemble and adjust. It has a quality aluminium shaft, nice mid-sized blade and is suitably stiff in use to paddle efficiently. All of the accessories (bag, leash, pump), carry handle and grip are well designed and quality items. The board graphics are simple and stylish and the turquoise we chose stands out well! It all packs nicely into the bag provided and we were able to take abroad as hold luggage (just added some extra cardboard padding to proceed the pump and paddle) with a load of spare room in bag for towels and snorkelling gear). On the water, the board is well balanced and stable. My son got to grips with it quickly, as did my wife and both were standing confidently within no time at all. The Tourer is easy to paddle in the sea in small waves, and I felt confident venturing further from shore when exploring in Crete. Easy to manoeuvre and control in a small swell, and as name suggests, a delight on the flat too. At 15+ PSI, these inflatable boards feel lovely, rigid and stable; a far cry from old school cheap inflatables! High performance with the convenience of folding down into a bag. The mechanism for adjusting paddle length did work loose (after a couple of days in use from sandy beaches) but was simple to rectify by tightening the clamp screws, so no issues there. All in all we are delighted with our Wave Tourer SUP. No negatives after a week of daily use in the sea, and looking forward to taking it out on the Avon.”

“The packaging is perfect, although a lot larger than I thought (my bad). The process to inflate it is very simple and fast. The first time I tried it, the water was incredibly choppy and it was a lot of fun. Hours later I went with my daughter seating in the front with calm water and I thought it was very easy to maneuver it. It makes you work on your balance more than the ones you can rent at any beach and I love that. It might not be suited for first-time paddlers.”
