First, the Wave customer support is excellent. They respond quickly and are very friendly and accommodating. The hot tub is very comfortable, spacious and has maintained it's set temperature. Today is 32 degrees F and snowing in Colorado. I have not lost any heat from the 95 degrees F that I have the hot tub programmed at. I do use the inflatable cover, with the optional thermal cover on top of it. The app works great with no lost connection. The thermostat of the heater is accurate compared to the floating thermometer I have in the tub. We heat the tub up to 103 the other night, and did not lose any heat while we were using the tub on a 45 degree F evening. We are very fortunate that we have not had any issues with the heat pump. It did take 15 hours for the hot tub to heat from the 59 degree F tap water to a comfortable 96. Now it heats up to 103 within two hours from our set 95 degrees. The bubbles provide a nice ambiance, but they are not really designed to provide any therapeutic benefit. Assembly was a challenge. Because the foam panels are fully expanded upon delivery, the metal rods are very difficult to install, as well as zippering the inside liner to the outside liner. We did cut 1/2" from the foam on each side of the hot tub to assist in assembling. This was very easy with a foam hot knife. It was still tight zippering, but we managed as one strong person pulls up on the outside liner as another pulls the zipper with pliers or a channel lock. If you install the bottom metal rods first by assembling into a square and leaving just one side unfastened, and work your way up, it is alot easier. You will need two people for the entire assembly as you will need someone inside adjusting foam panels while rods are being installed outside, and making sure the outside liner is square and foam is in the corners of the liner properly. I recommend buying this hot tub if you plan on having something modular that can easily be moved around, or moved to another house. We didn't want to spend thousands on a conventional hot tub and wind up moving sometime down the road. And, not having to install a 220v near our patio was a plus.

I couldn’t be more happy with this hot tub! It came in 8 boxes so you can assemble it anywhere you have the space. This was a plus for us because no other 6 person hot tub would fit down our basement stairs. It was easy to assemble and is much higher quality and more durable than I expected. Since my purchase I have had two interactions with customer service. Both times they were very friendly and helpful. Of note, the cover is not hard foam. It’s kind of like an inflatable “mattress” inside of the cover. It holds the heat well but is a little difficult for one person to remove.
