“My long running and faithful Aquaforce 8000 eventually started to cause all kinds of problems, and so after speaking with Jack I followed his advice and went for the Eco 8500. A good move. The only thing that I wish Aquaforce would do is make it possible to lift the pump out of the water by fitting some kind of central weighted handle on top of the case. As with the 8000 I overcame the problem of the silt pouring back into the pond when lifting out, by placing a strong wire hoop through the grill case holes, and this allows me to then fish it out with a hook end pole.”
