arrived very quickly to the US. I guess full disclosure is that I had done a disguising amount of investigation into various bracelets, and basically wanted to check out in hand the distinction between milanese and polanaise bracelets, the latter having more of a woven, herringbone type appearance. Staib, by reputation, makes the best. the cheaper ones are typically made in lower labor cost countries with the expensive ones being german made. i thought the quality on this one was excellent, and they were very easy to install, fit well, and it’s definitely a bit more lustrous and eye catching than milanese bracelet which is more common. definitely a lot ‘dressier’ in appearance. anyway this is one of the only places i found that even stocks a polonaise bracelet and I bought the only one in stock at the time, but just thought i’d let folks know in case they are ever hunting for one that it’s definitely a bit different from the easier to find milanese type and I like it very much. a good buy for any vintage inspired watch, especially if the case is pretty polished

This a beautiful quality mesh strap, very sturdy too however the sad news is that the clasp design is absolutely horrendous, it's way too fiddly and awkward. If you have slightly smaller wrists I'd avoid this style clasp at all costs, you're in for a world of frustration.

Staib make very expensive bracelets, so presumably this is one of their budget range, although there is no Staib branding on the piece, unfortunately. The standout feature of this nicely-made strap is that it is 'Polonaise' instead of the usual 'Milanese' mesh, with an interesting twist to the weave. The strap perfectly complements a vintage or retro watch and adds a touch of class that you won't find with leather. Highly recommended and, at the price, a bargain.

Thanks for your review Keith. Your feedback has been taken on board and I will pass this on to Staib but we agree, branding would improve this product for sure.

Breathed new life into my son's Tag Heuer. He prefers it to the original strap! Knowledgeable staff at Watch Obsession made some fantastic recommendations.

I'm a watch collector, all my watches eventually end up on mesh bracelets. I like the way they look, feel & fasten securely. My latest watch is a Daniel JeanRichard tonneau & I wanted something a little more stylish & different to the usual fare. The Staib vintage 'polonaise' mesh has done the trick & sets the watch off very nicely. The overall quality is good as well.
