“The moment I saw the green Bonetto Cinturini 270 Premium Rubber Watch Strap I knew it would be a great match for my Seiko 5 Sports Field, also in green (SRPG33K1). And I was right, the strap & dial are perfect partners - close to identical in colour, but not quite. And it's not just the colour, the matt hardware on the strap matches Seiko's excellent matt stainless steel case as well. The result is that the strap looks like it was made for the watch. And I'm not normally someone who wears watches & straps in the same colour. But I can't see myself putting anything else on this watch for a while. The self-punching holes (something I've never come across before) is a very clever idea, but a word of warning, if you only want to punch the one hole, gauge it carefully. I got it slightly wrong and ended up with 3 holes, but no worries, they are very discreet. The strap wears very well, the rubber is high quality as is the workmanship, and the keepers are tight which I like. The inside of the strap is textured rather than flat, which I suspect helps ventilation - I've worn the strap on a few sweaty bike rides & never found it at all uncomfortable. Just two small quibbles: -if it was Quick Release I'd have given it 5 stars -at 3mm thick, the rubber seems a tad on the thick side, I think it could be 2.5 or 2mm easy without compromising strength. A fine, high quality rubber strap. I'll be looking at their other offerings in the future.”
