With that out of the way, I really love this hybrid strap series. I already bought the black one and it was fantastic. You will never have to worry about sweat or washing your hands ever again. The construction was great and flexible. I use spring deployment clasp so I cannot comment much on that part where you crease the leather. But so far I believe this thing will be indestructible and the leather will age very for the grain I see. They use good leather.
Now, I'm looking at the caramel colored one. But the rubber lining being black that's going to be 3 colors if I use silver clasp. Again, if I use black it's going to be silver watch, light brown strap, and thick black lining. I wish they have that rubber in lighter color.”
“I bought the black one and like the construction of it. Been wearing that one for months now. The impression was that it was very durable and provide good quality leather for dressy situations. However my 2nd purchase of this brown one there was some glue left on one of the loop from the tag. When I tried removing the leftover glue with sticky tape the "brown paint" came out of it. I'm not very well-versed in tannery but i believe there is difference between dyeing and painting. Maybe the leather material on the loop is different from the one they used for the strap. Anyway, not so sure about durability now. I like how the construction allow for some sweating situations without any worries tho. And this is by far still the best for the job (never to worry about sweat damage on the strap).
Which these things exist in smaller length so i have less excess tongue.”
