“it looks very smart thanks. I worry a little that the 'easy-fit' (is that what they call them?) sprung pins may catch on something - then again, I'm a worrier anyway, but I intend to line the strap with suede that shows through the holes in the strap anyway. Which will help the watch itself not to steam up when I'm riding my bike. btw there is a similar 1970s style of punching holes in bike parts, gloves etc. which matches 'rally' style in cars (and watches obvs) - we call it the 'drillium', before carbon fibre or aluminium, what they did was drill holes in everything they could. bars, chainwheels, shoes they lot. to lighten it all and to cool the clothing.”
