By it’s very design cold pressed food creates a great quality poop! Sorry, it had to be said! Because the fibre content is quite high and that fibre is natural (as opposed to extruded food where much of the fibre and goodness is lost due to the manufacturing process and raw feeding that is high in protein but low in fibre), it promotes some great gut action. The plant fibres are really important as they allow water to be absorbed into the large intestine and make the poop more mobile and easier to pass.The result is you will find a poop that is easy to pick up and you will often have plenty of it! This might take some of you raw feeders by surprise! Just relate this to humans, we only need to look at vegetarians, vegans and people who follow a predominantly plant based diet, the volume of their stools is far higher than a person who is a committed carnivore!
