“Really disappointing service. Windows not installed how we wanted them and when trying to agree a solution to coming back and sorting them Vufold have tried to stick us with a ridiculous cost for doing so. Experience has left very bitter taste in our mouths”

Hi Phil, We’re sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with your experience and that you’ve been left feeling this way. We were surprised to receive this review, as we had worked with you to try and find a solution. Following our discussions, the request to revisit the installation was due to an issue with the floor levels prepared by the builder, rather than an issue with the manufacture or supply of the door and windows themselves. Resolving this would have required the two large sliding doors to be fully removed and reinstalled, with a team of three people needed to complete the works. The cost provided was based on the time, labour and resources required to carry out these works, in line with the original installation costs. We were also happy to discuss additional window installations that you had originally purchased on a self-install basis, in an effort to help achieve the finished result you were looking for. We always aim to deliver a high level of service and, where issues arise, we will always do our best to help our customers find a suitable solution. “Good quality product, good customer service. But the delivery is a mess. Parts are missing and takes weeks to get the actual missing part. I was told the delivery cost £300+ but the driver will not help with offloading! You have to have people onsite to give hand and it’s your own business to sort that out!”

We’re very sorry you’ve experienced issues with delivery, and our aftercare team is working closely with you to get this resolved. The replacement parts initially missing from your delivery were located in our warehouse and dispatched the next day. Unfortunately, additional items were later reported as missing, which required re-manufacturing as they were showing as originally dispatched to you. We are prioritising these and will get them to you at the earliest opportunity. Regarding delivery, we did not charge you £300 for delivery. Your order was dispatched using our customer-assisted delivery method, which was discussed and agreed prior to dispatch. This method is necessary for certain orders, such as yours, which included loose glass panels, as they cannot be handled by our standard two-man delivery service.
