“The doors are excellent quality and easy to install provided the opening is square and plumb. We put the doors in an opening knocked between two rooms (solid wall) and I built the opening exactly to specification (2100mm x 2017mm). Since the opening is 10mm larger than the frame size, I found there was a 10mm gap at the top on the inside - the jambs need to fit on the finished floor. I had to fill the gap with expanding acoustic foam (to provide some level of sound insulation) and source some oak strips 2.4m long to cover the foam. I found some 20mm x 7mm oak strips on EBay and purchased 4 for about £50, one for the top and three to cover the gap between the wall and jambs with a 3mm overlap. Although the grain doesn't exactly match the oak finish of the doors, it is acceptable. It would have been preferable for Vufold to have supplied these with the kit. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for this. This is my only complaint.”

“Excellent quality internal oak bifold doors. From beginning to end this company gave first class service, keeping us informed of progress along the way. Service was swift and when the doors were delivered they came really well packaged, with comprehensive instructions sheets together with all fixtures and fittings plus even a screw driver and spanner! Easy to fit, they were soon in place and look beautiful! Our two separate rooms are now a through room with the added feature of our bifold doors so can still have two separate rooms when we wish. A beautiful addition to our home, certainly beats moving! I certainly recommend this company to anyone considering internal bifold doors. Well done Vufold!!”

“These doors are just beautiful! Our joiner fitted them and they just work superbly.. smooth, easy opening- on advice, we did go for the floor track which I didn’t really want but it is really inconspicuous. We open and close them each day and they are a joy to use. The opaque glass is just perfect- much more private than I could have imagined- you can only see through if someone stands right against the glass- but it lets plenty of light in. I was anxious it might appear a bit white and stark: but not at all! Overall appearance and function is that it’s a quality product- but as has been said before- benefits from expert fitting.”
