Dear Petru, Thank you so much for taking the time to rate your Stockholm Ultimate Front Door with 4-stars! We understand your concerns regarding the wood being soft and easily damaged; as with any material, care does need to be taken during the installation process. Please rest assured though, we only use slow-grown hardwood and thick slices of real oak veneers on our external doors, and for extra piece of mind, you also have a 10-year gurantee against the occurrence of manufacturing defects. Sorry to hear of your experience with your chosen installer, if you have any further feedback from him as to what he was unhappy about, we would be grateful if you were to share this with us.
