“Rubbish customer service, sold me a damaged door and would not replace like for like”

Dear Aqib, We're naturally disappointed to read your comments, particularly regarding our customer service, as this doesn't reflect the interactions we had with you. We would also like to clarify that we did not knowingly sell you a damaged door. Unfortunately, despite our quality control procedures, the damage must have occurred during handling or transit after the product left our warehouse. Although the delivery paperwork was signed to confirm the door had been received without visible damage, we still accepted your report and worked with you to resolve the issue without dispute. Throughout your enquiry, we responded to your emails and telephone calls promptly and worked to provide a resolution as quickly as possible. We fully appreciate that receiving a damaged product is frustrating, and we're sorry that this happened. Unfortunately, the exact replacement door you originally ordered was no longer available from stock. We notified you immediately and, without delay, offered two options: a full refund or an alternative door design with a partial refund to reflect the difference in specification. You chose to proceed with the alternative door, which we arranged and delivered promptly. We completely understand that the stock availability was disappointing, and we share that disappointment. However, we don't feel it is a fair reflection of your experience to describe our customer service as "rubbish" when we responded to all of your emails and telephone calls promptly, kept you informed throughout, offered immediate solutions and gave you the choice of either a full refund or an alternative replacement. Whilst we're sorry we couldn't supply the original replacement door design due to stock availability, we remain confident that we did everything we reasonably could to resolve the situation as quickly and fairly as possible, and we're disappointed that this has not been reflected in your review. “Had a few issues with the first 2 doors delivered but the customer service rep Martin was superb and he sorted out getting new door delivered and its now installed and looks brilliant.”

“Very happy with the service and the quality, need a qualified carpenter/joiner to put it all together tho, thought it was going to come as a complete frame with the door hung and locks installed and all we had to do was fit it in the opening and fit the sidelights, so it was a bit of a shock and mad panic because the opening had already been cleared ready to install the new door and frame.”
