“We are disappointed with the information we had access to, in order to place our order for white external French doors recently. When installed, we noticed that the hinges were black which we were disappointed to see. We looked into all MARCOM assettes available we had access to and also on the order confirmation and invoice, but there was no mention of black hinges. We saw white external doors which did not show black hinges and so assumed that all doors reflected a similar offering. If we would have had access to such information, we probably would not have purchased these doors. We were quite disappointed that we did not receive any information in regard to hinges prior to our purchase decision.”

While the product image does show black hinges, we appreciate that this detail may not have stood out clearly at first glance - we’ll be reviewing the site to see if this can be even more prominent going forward. However, the product description does specify “white handles and black hardware” in two places—including during the checkout process. We always encourage customers to reach out to our team with any questions, especially when specific design details are important to a project. If you'd prefer a different hinge finish, a local aluminium or uPVC spray company may be able to colour-match and respray the hinge faces to suit your preferences.
