“The doors are really nice and good quality. However we were let down by the customer service as Vufold sent out the kit incomplete with brackets missing that resulted in the frame unable to be installed. The workmen identified this within the first ten minutes of the job and it took Vufold a few days to get missing parts to us. This cost us £££ in wasted workmen costs. Vufold didn’t make any amends or gestures of goodwill for their error. Which is a shame as we’ll source a similar product from another company for our next product.”

We are sorry to hear of the issue and that our resolution did not meet your expectations. You first reported the missing frame fixings to us 10 days after your delivery and been completed. After checking our production picking notes and the images you kindly provided, everything did suggest the parts were originally included, however we understood the urgency in your request for replacements and arranged for the frame fixings to be dispatched immediately to you. Whilst we have put various measures and checks in place to reduce errors, we do recommend that all items are checked for any missing or damaged parts and reported within 72 hours of receipt of your order, and before arranging the installation. This is to protect you and to ensure that there are no significant delays or costs incurred should a mistake have been made. It is disappointing for us to hear you will be sourcing your product elsewhere, should you wish to discuss this further please do not hesitate to contact a member of our aftercare team and please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. Dear Steve, Thank you for your review and it’s great to hear you are pleased with the doors. We have 2 different options available from our Status aluminium bifold door range, ‘Status Express’ and ‘Status’. The Status doors you selected are from our Status Express range which we offer on a 3 working day lead-time, they do not come with trickle vents as standard as they are not always required. Trickle vents are an option with the Status (non-express) range and can be selected as part of the configuration and buying process, however they are on a longer lead-time. Kind regards Vufold

“The doors come flat packed but are straight forward to assemble. We used a builder to fit these as we had other work going on and they commented positively on the quality of the doors and the ease of fitting them. They’ve been in for a few weeks now throughout some fairly stormy weather with no issues. I’d recommend this product.”
