“As a contractor I find it ultra frustrating to use the unfinished product especially as recomendation is to 2 coat before installation. Even with quick dring products this means an additional day in reality to ensure effective finish over the 2 coats adding unessecary time to a project, also space becomes an issue if you just installing into a clients home with no other works going on. I would certainly like to see the pre finished product back on the product line up for all oak doors.”

“I cant fault them really and youve made it easier to install by thinking about what customerss need in the instalation pack. The 3.0 m oak bifolds we bought are perhaps a bit beyond a competent DIYer. Our builders say they will recommend them to clients in the future.”

“As a competent DIYer, I found the instructions good and the bifold doors easy to install. They look great and the communication around delivery was very good. The only issue I had was when I removed the masking tape, post plastering, from the frame. Despite having sealed the frame, the tape pulled off some of the veneer. I don’t think I was too aggressive and the tape had been on less than 6 hours, so very disappointed and surprised this would happen. Real shame but I can cover most of the damage with an architrave. Hopefully the veneer on the outside is adhered better, I am going to give it an extra coat of protection just in case.”

“The doors are nicely made and well designed. Once installed they operate very smoothly and look really nice. I’d have given them 5 stars but they failed in 2 areas. 1) the labelling on the boxes was awful. All doors had 2 contradicting labels on them. Also the drilling templates were wrong with 2 doors being labelled as door 2 of 3. It wasn’t so hard to sort out… but the misinformation hinders rather than helps. Worse the manual is wrong. For example it states clearly that the hinge butt between 1 and 2 must be on door one. (The doors were pre drilled with the hinge butt on door 2). The dilling is correct. The instruction manual is wrong. There are other errors and omissions in the manual too. So overall good. Rather let down by confusing documentation and labelling.”
