“We needed a simple, elegant glazed internal doorset with a fixed adjacent panel of glazing. Vufold were able to take my measurements and create exactly what was required. The finished product was very well constructed with an innovative magnetic latch system making door closure almost silent. Throughout the process with Vufold, every member of the sales and technical staff I was in contact with were genuinely keen to help me gain the best result, and I'm really grateful to everyone who provided support. “We were quite disappointed with our vufold door. We ordered the alluminium white internal door. It came with a glass pane missing, the glass was covered in silicon sealant which needs removing and the joins were untidy with some scratches in the white paint. It is a shame as we were really looking forward to having it. We had really great support for the sizing of the door.”

Regarding the silicone, we want to reassure you that we don’t use silicone in the assembly of the product you purchased or in the handling of the glass, so we’ll work with you to understand what’s happened and get it sorted. “The doors look nice, but fitting was challenging because they were manufactured to the exact size not 10mm smaller as we were told they would be.”

Hi Emily, Thank you for your review. We’re really pleased to hear you’re happy with the look of the doors. We’re sorry to hear you experienced difficulty during fitting and that there was some confusion over our sizing process. It appears the sizes you provided on the online quote form were opening dimensions, though this wasn’t explicitly stated. As standard, we always quote manufactured sizes, not opening sizes. You queried whether we make the doors 10mm smaller or if you needed to adjust the measurements, and we advised that we recommend having the manufactured sizes 10mm smaller than the opening to allow for fitting tolerances. We also followed up to confirm whether any changes were needed before proceeding and manufactured the doors to the signed-off size provided. We’ll review how we present this information to make it even clearer, and we’re sorry if you felt we could have done more from our side. Kind regards, The Vufold Team
