“I have bought 5 Aluspace doors from Vufold and the service has been excellent. The doors look and feel fantastic and attract lots of comments from visitors. The only issue I have is that the magnetic closing mechanism on the most recent doors need a bit of pressure to 'catch' but that might be down to how they are fitted or the newness of the seals.”

“It is hard to install with the required precison to allow the peculiar magentic door latch to work property. Accurate drilling into brickwork can be difficult particulalry if it is very hard as in my case. There should be some system built in to allow finef adjsutment”

Hi Philip, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review and share your feedback. We're sorry to hear you found the installation challenging. As discussed during your installation, the issue was ultimately identified as the frame not being installed level due to the floor being out of level, which required packing beneath one side of the frame to achieve the correct alignment. Our AluSpace doors are designed with very slim sightlines, so accurate installation, levelling and packing of the frame are essential to ensure the magnetic latch and door operate correctly. The frame fixings can be loosened to make fine adjustments during installation, allowing the frame to be packed and aligned as required.
