I have the most positive impressions from the program in Uganda. As a mature volunteer in my first trip in SubSaharan Africa, I was a bit concerned beforehand, but I felt totally supported and safe throughout my journey, both through the Volunteering Solutions Operations Office and the local team. The local coordinators were amazing, completely dedicated to what they do.The work was fulfilling, varied, and flexible. I learnt a lot, both through the voluntary projects, our conversations with the local coordinator and the sightseeings. I definitely recommend this program to any volunteers who wish to contribute to some of the most vulnerable communities,in a location that's off the beaten track.

It was a great program thank you very much for the wonderful placement. The project coordinator in Uganda does a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend the program. My volunteer experience has been wonderful I had a lot of fun and a really great time. I love the kids the people here are very nice. The Hospital was great very good experience something I wouldn't have gotten back home and I am looking forward to coming back as soon as I can I say that from the bottom of my heart. The in-country coordinator is great she did a wonderful job. I have learned a lot more than I can talk about but really everyone has their own battles and struggles that they go through and everyone is different so that's what I learned what's right for the one person is not right for the next you have to take everything as someone says.
