For us, key thing is absolutely drenched your window, give you extra play time with film.......and stick to the instructions!
We didn't read thoroughly, went straight in thinking we know how, but on reading thoroughly, doing it as per instruction made all the difference .
For what it's worth we went back for a further purchase .”
“Needed to put this film on a window in my grandaughter's room to keep it cool when she visits. Had to order a 2-meter by 1.5-meter piece for two window panes. One measures 103 x 87 and the other 98 x 17cm. So set about doing the cutting. Where do you find anywhere large enough not to crease the film, more importantly, how do you cut it properly without a meter rule and hard surface, nightmare! Why they cannot cut it to size for you I have no idea but they can as they did it for a cheaper product I had from them. This cost £70, not happy so now have to get a proper ruler and some boarding before I can start to fit it.”
“Bought to cover the south-facing front windows and front door.
Found it easy to apply, recommend using wide parcel tape to separate the backing layer off the film.
Definitely works, whilst internal light levels are only very slightly lowered. On the hottest day here (19-07-22) the outside temperature was 34 C whilst the living room and front bedroom were 24 C. The living room was 27C on a cooler day before we put the film on.
Externally the windows do look a little darker but not much more than those of our neighbours”
