The birds love this mix. It's very good quality. No bran in it so when it rains the feeders don't clog up. It does cost more than other places, but you get more for your money. There's far less waste too. So overall I am getting much better value for money by spending a bit more with Vine House. I am onto my second delivery from them now. They deliver really quickly once your order is placed too. I buy Won't Grow Mix and sunflower hearts from Vine House. These attract a wide range of birds to our garden. In fact the garden is alive with them. It's good to see Greenfinches and Chaffinches back. When it's really cold we get linnets, redpols and sometimes Bramblings. Currently we have some very possessive blackcaps that chase away other birds trying to feed even when they themselves don't want to feed. We have a very polite squirrel who comes in for its breakfast on the feeder right by the house. It doesn't destroy the feeders or drop them. It just eats what it wants and leaves. It even came up to the bedroom window while I was doing the Great Garden bird watch at the weekend to say thankyou. He was sitting just the other side of the window looking right at me bold as brass. I know they are pests but even so.. can't help liking my fluffy tree rat. I used to buy my food from other suppliers (GWDirect) however they have started adding bran to their mixes probably to avoid raising their prices. I found partially ground pellets of bran in the mixes I last got from them. Very dusty. Birds don't eat bran. Result - when it rains, the bird feeders clog wasting food and resulting in hungry birds. Would you put wheatabix in your birdfeeders?

Having a small town garden I find this mix of seed ideal, it attracts usual small birds, sparrows, blue /great tits, even Robins. The won't grow factor too is great as no growth under the feeder to cause problems in the grass. The mix of seed means little /no waste as the birds don't throw it out /drop unwanted food... So no waste to attract vermin.

Birds can't get enough of it. I could refill the feeder three times a day and they'd still empty it! No mess despite the starlings throwing it everywhere. Small birds e.g. dunnocks and wagtail hoover up immediately. Great product.

In the summer I bought some mixed seed locally and the rye grass growing in my border was terrible. This Wont Grow Mix is wonderful. It does what it says on the bag.
