This attractive Archway Ground Feeder allows food and ground feeding birds to stay dry whilst feeding with its clear perspex roof, and a mesh feeding tray. This is a flat packed item and is very easy to assemble by simply bending the perspex into shape and secure it over the ends of the side bars of the feeder. A reinforced hole in the top which allows it to be hung up above ground if required.

“Have had a trusty old ground feeder for years but after a pesky rat appeared I purchased the Archway which now hangs from a pole. Easy to put together and attractive but so far unused, nearby I have a feeding station full of Vine House goodies( 5* menu!) which maybe the reason it’s ignored. I’m very patient.”

“I think this is really attractive and I have it as a ground feeder outside my back door where it is well used. It does however have a reinforced hole in the perspex so it could be hung, though I haven’t tried it. I agree that birds don’t get under the cover, but I find the larger ones are happy to reach in, and the smaller ones perch on the bars to feed. The bars do get scuffed so a lick of paint is on my 2019 ‘maybe’ list....”

“This product does not work. The birds will not go under the perspex cover to feed. Once the cover is removed the tray sits on the ground so no drainage as the design of the cover forms the legs to the tray. A waste of money though essentially a good idea as once wet the birds do not eat the food.”
