Enjoy learning about the birds that Nicholas has attracted to the farm, through his feeding initiatives and conservation measures
Our Winter Bird Watches are in January and February, where you will travel around the farmland in your own vehicle, stopping at our hides
Our late Spring/Summer Farm Walks take place in May, June and July which last around two hours, starting with with a presentation by Nicholas Watts.
The tour is on a tractor and trailer, stopping off at various points, ending back up at Vine House Farm with a BBQ Our Sunflower Walks are similar in style, taking place in August, with a visit to our beautiful sunflower fields also included in the tour
Please note that tickets are not refundable, unless the walk is cancelled by Vine House Farm

“It was a very very hot day on the day of our walk - I phoned to see of it would be postponed as it would have been in the middle of the day but unfortunately it wasn’t so we didn’t actually get to go on the walk.”

“A very interesting tour of the farm and nearby land, by car as we were a small group, with lots of stops for discussion of farming and wildlife issues, and their interaction, followed by a good lunch at the farm shop cafe. Highly recommended.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hour session on the farm. Nicholas is very knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to hear the way that wild life is both encouraged and looked after on the farm. We have been on some of his walks in the past but there is always further knowledge to be gained. The tour finished off by seeing the wonderful field of sunflowers opposite the farm.”

“The walk and information was superb. The tickets were not, we were supplied with wrongly dated tickets and we did not appear on Nicholas’s list. Fortunately there was room on the trailer, so nothing lost.”
