“I usually buy the plain super suet fat balls but they weren't available, so tried the berry ones. I put the fat balls in a squirrel proof feeder to keep the starlings off and the plain ones were going down rapidly via the smaller birds. However, since I put the berry ones in a couple of weeks ago the smaller birds seem a lot less interested. I don't know if it's the colour or flavour but they don't seem to like them as much. They are being nibbled but not all that much. Having said that, I've been chopping them up and putting them on the bird table and the starlings and all the bigger birds love them, but they will eat anything! I'll be going back to the plain super suets if they are available once I get through all the berry ones.”
“These are a big hit with the Jackdaws .with their strong beaks they soon get though them. The smaller birds cleaning up underneath all our very Happy!”
“Have just filled the Guardian feeder and sparrows, tits and robins have found them and blackbirds and pigeons are picking up the bits dropped from above so all are well fed.”
“The birds don't seem to like the new berry flavour suet balls nearly as much as the plain ones. I ordered them as the plain ones were on back order and the birds had seemed very hungry - the berry ones have hardly been touched!”
“I haven't tried them myself but I put a couple out in a feeder every morning and they disappear very fast, so I assume they are exceedingly tasty. I'm sure if the birds had thumbs they would give these a definite thumbs up.”
