With 50% more fat than our traditional Suet Fat Balls, our Super Suet Fat Balls are a firm favourite with garden birds and an extremely popular choice in most peoples' gardens. They are a valuable source of energy for a wide range of species, with the Tit family especially enjoying them. Made up of mealworm powder, peanut & wheat flour, finely ground & mixed with the suet, giving a pale finish. Beware of cheap suet balls as they can be mixed with sand, grit or sweepings to bulk them out

This new lot of fatballs are different. They are softer, fall apart more easily( I had to remould about 10 of them) . They are also smaller( It takes 5 to fill my feeder instead of 4).

When the box of 150 arrived and I opened it, many of the fat balls had broken up into pieces. Perhaps this had happened in transit but the balls themselves are so very soft that even a small amount of jolting would damage them. I counted about 130 that were more or less whole then the other 20 or so are in many pieces and I am not sure yet if they will stay in the container. Not keen to buy this variety again. Regardless, the birds love them and eat them twice as quickly as any other fat balls.

Hello, thank you for your review As our Super Suet Fat Balls have a higher fat content ,they are more susceptible to temperature change. If they start to get warm they will break up. They can be pressed back into shape, or if broken the birds will still take them.
