With 50% more fat than our traditional Suet Fat Balls, our Super Suet Fat Balls are a firm favourite with garden birds and an extremely popular choice in most peoples' gardens. They are a valuable source of energy for a wide range of species, with the Tit family especially enjoying them. Made up of mealworm powder, peanut & wheat flour, finely ground & mixed with the suet, giving a pale finish. Beware of cheap suet balls as they can be mixed with sand, grit or sweepings to bulk them out

It can take birds a few weeks to get used to new food, you may find they're just not confident to feed yet but hopefully, they will be feeding soon.

“A higher percentage of fat in these fat balls means the birds are getting a huge benefit during the winter weather. They certainly enjoy them - I am putting 5 fat balls out in my feeders alongside Shobrooke Park every day and they are usually all gone by about 3pm. Certainly a good buy from the birds' point of view.”

“I have bought other fat balls from local shops and the birds turn up their noses. Vine House Farm's fat balls get eaten quickly every time. Starlings, blue and great tits, sparrows and dunnocks, and more have all been seen regularly feeding from them.”

“Are you using a different recipe or supplier? The last two boxes of these fat balls have not been as popular as all previous boxes - and I have been buying them for several years so it's noticeable.”
