Insect Suet Blocks are a firm favourite with many garden birds. These high energy insect flavoured fat blocks are superb to feed throughout the year, especially in the winter and breeding seasons. Suet blocks may be fed from a bird table or in a suet block holder.

These are a great favourite with my great spotted woodpeckers, blue and great tits and on occasion magpies and crows! These blocks are good value too; I will need to order some more soon.

These blocks are a poor substitute for the original “less mess blocks” which used to be available. The same comments apply to similar “fat balls” substituted at the same time. It is not known if the changes were due to coronavirus in some way.

The long-tailed tits can’t get enough of these suet blocks, along with a very fat grey squirrel.

The suet blocks (both insect flavour and berry) are hugely popular in our garden, enjoyed by many from small birds such as a variety of Tits to large birds such as the visiting Rook. Most exciting for us is the regular early morning visit by a local Great Spotted Woodpecker. Highly recommended.

Very disappointing. The birds, blue tits, coal tits, long tail tits, sparrows, robins are not attracted to it. Even pigeons who come to devour seeds, shun it.

Hello, Thank you for your feedback it is always valued, with something new being introduced into the garden the birds can be picky and decide they don't like it even before they try it. Normally after a few weeks they become accustomed to this new food and will start to eat away. Nicholas has suggested before to remove other sources of food for a couple of days to encourage the birds to try the new food quicker. Please contact us if the birds are still not eating these.
