Our Dried Mealworms are a great source of protein and have been a real hit since we first introduced them. Dried mealworms have a similar level of fat and protein as the live equivalent.
What birds enjoy eating Dried Mealworms?
Dried mealworms will be eaten by most soft bill species and in particular Robins, Starlings and Blackbirds. House Sparrows will also eat them.
How do I feed Dried Mealworms to birds?
Dried Mealworms can be fed on their own, in a mealworm feeder or can be added to seed mixes. It’s very important that Dried Mealworms are soaked in water prior to feeding in the breeding season, as it is also the moisture that the young nestlings require.
How should I store dried mealworms?
They should be stored in a dry cool place.

The birds seem to like them, but I add them to the mixed seed. (Unfortunately, using them on their own just attracts a horde of starlings, whereas in a mix all the birds can benefit from them.)

These are great, and the birds especially love them when they've been in water for half an hour.

My robins love me! I do mix it in with other wild bird food from Vine House Farm. Very happy with my purchases over the years. Always promptly dispatched. Can recommend.
