“The wrong product was sent - a sack of Mixed Seed. I only ordered one item and somehow whoever did the order-picking managed to get it wrong. It was compounded by the behaviour of DHL, who followed neither of the instructions (ie deliver to me by ringing our doorbell, or leaving around the side of the house.) I was in waiting but DHL simply left the delivery outside. Had they done what they were supposed to, then I would have noted that the delivery was wrong and it could have been sorted sooner.
A further criticism of DHL - they still have not collected from me the item for return. Vine House farm did sort out the correct delivery for me straightaway on the phone. But the matter-of-fact way, without any apology, suggested to me such mistakes are not uncommon. This is demoralising for customers who like me would rather support small Uk businesses than national chains.”
