Sunflower Heart Chips are suitable for seed feeders, bird tables and ground feeder. Please note that if used on its own this product can stick in feeders in very damp conditions

This will always happen when the birds are taking the seed.
May I suggest you try a feeding tray depending on the type of feeder you have ,they normally attach to the bottom of the feeder ,this will catch a lot of the seed spilled by the birds.
