We have a cottage in the countryside with agricultural land on three sides. As a consequence there is a wide variety of birds in the area. Each morning at around 8 a.m. I spread a good measure of seed on the grass. An old crow announces the event from an adjacent Elm Tree. Thereupon a wide variety of birds pounce and feed with relish. In Winter, I often feel bound to replenish their supply later in the day. The small birds feed in the cage supplied by the Vine House Farm whist the larger birds pounce on the seed which I spread outside. The Premium high Energy Seed is much appreciated by our bunch of feathered friends.

A very popular, with small birds, seed mixture which is usually consumed quickly from bird feeders by a variety of birds in the garden. There is something for all varieties of small birds in the mixture.

The birds in the garden, mainly sparrows, but we do have a robin, blackbirds, blue tits, a pair of magpies, they finish off 2 full feeders per day, along with several fat balls. I love watching them bathe, squabble and run about having fun. They look really healthy and happy. The seed they drop is eaten quickly by the ground-feeders and occasionally a squirrel, so everyone is happy.
