“I have had your mixed seeds for several years but this time a lot of the birds don’t touch the smaller seeds, they just leave a mess. So once this large bag is finished I will have to look for bigger seeds elsewhere. Maureen Anton.”

Thank you for getting in touch. The smaller seeds tend to attract smaller bird species, so if these birds don’t often visit your garden, these seeds may be left uneaten. As an alternative, you might consider Sunflower Hearts, which are enjoyed by a much wider variety of birds and are likely to reduce this waste. https://www.vinehousefarm.co.uk/sunflower-hearts
