“The mixed seed order was a mistake on my part because I intended to order sunflower hearts. However they are a success.. I normally keep clear of mixtures because they make a mess. However I hold the feeders empty for a few housr and the birds all feed on the ground. My feeders are well shrouded by bushes.
Incidentally my Niger seeds are not going very well. Goldfinches are half hearted and choose mixed seeds as preference”
