Sadly most of the mealworms were dead on arrival [though it didnt stop the birds from eating them]. I cannot fault the ordering service from Vine House and previous orders have been fine

A week after ordering the live mealworms, I’m still waiting for them to be delivered.

Delivery was lost for 2 weeks, kept emailing and getting really poor automated responses, which caused further emails. Product finally turned up 2 weeks later, “live mealworms” dead decomposed and smelling awful. Refund process really slow Nothing good to say, really poor, food for birds so essential

The worms were good quality but I ordered the domed feeder to put them in to feed the small birds, thinking that they would arrive together, unfortunately The feeder was out of stock and arrived after the worms had died, So disappointed, however the feeder arrived eventually and has been put to good use, the magpies can’t get to the dried worms I purchased elsewhere.

I was disappointed that my mealworms took almost a month to arrive. I had to send two emails regarding the order and when they arrived only 1 out of the 6 pots had live mealworms, the rest were deceased. I emailed about this with photos of the worms and I have not had any response. I am guessing this may be due to the COVID-19 situation and delivery issues however, I’m very disappointed as in the past the worms have arrived and have been very healthy. .

All my orders over the years have always arrived promptly and efficiently . My last order for mealworms came up to expectation and they disappear in minutes after I have filled the feeders .

The tubs are quite small as when you put mealworms out for a Robin they attract other birds and they go very fast More bigger amounts would be useful

First time I've bought live mealworms and, when they arrived on a hot day, was slightly put off by their wiggling but, after they'd been in the fridge, they were less active so fine. Really bought them to help blue tits feeding their young but 'my' blue tits didn't seem to recognise mealworms as food! However a female house sparrow was soon tucking in. At last, after two weeks, the blue tits have 'twigged' and, after pecking into small pieces, fly to the bird box so, hopefully, the mealworms will improve the chances of a successful brood being raised.
