“I was a bit taken aback when I realised that the worms were all in an egg carton inside the bag so I needed to empty them all out into a large tray first which took a bit of doing. They do try and get away if they can. Then make some food. Luckily I had some allbran and porridge so I whizzed this up in a blender.
I then decanted a large spoonful into the plastic tubs I had saved from previous orders. Then added some food to each one and placed all the tubs in the bottom of my fridge. A few beetles scuttled away as I emptied the bag out! They had gone full circle obviously. Bit of an experience but then the birds love them and I really want to up the bird population so I will do it.”
