However, this particular example had a warped lid which I have tried to make reasonably level but failed. At this price, I would have expected better quality control.”

“The box I purchased was to replace a very old battered one which had been in place for the last 30 years! What I did not expect was that the birds would approve of it so much that they had moved in within 48 hours of it being put up! It is now being occupied by a blue tit, having been put up 4 days ago.
