“With or without the problem of squirrels the feeders are liked by birds that cannot perch on conventional pegs. The nuthatches and woodpeckers really like the outer cage to feed upside down to the amusement of visitors.”

“Just sending you a handy hint. I have a spring loaded squirrel proof seed feeder. Squirrels can still hang upside down and grab the feeder below the spring and steal the seed. I have now suspended it lower using a 6" extension on sturdy wire, this seems to have done the trick!”
